My Story
Training for Greatness
As a passionate and professional Fishing Instructor, I have become well-known and respected throughout the South East as a qualified Level 2 Angling Coach with the Angling Trust. I have developed my own unique training methods. With over 40 years experience, I have had many fishing roles such as head bailiff for Crawley Angling Society, and educational and training coach. I have won an award two years running for specialist sports coach in the South East and London from Prestige Awards.
At Sussex & Surrey Angling Tuition, I keep up with the latest training techniques and methodologies. I am fully insured, and enhanced DBS checked, first aid trained and I am used to working with children who are neurodivergent. Im also an approved partner for Get Fishing For Well-Being with the Angling Trust.

My professional experience and unique approach will help you to develop your angling skills and be confident to fish safely. I personally work with each person to help them achieve their individual goals. Early on, I identify what each client is capable of with my goal being to help them reach, then exceed that potential.

I have different tuition options for juniors, adults and combo's/groups if you are looking at trying fishing as a family or special occasion. I also do children's birthday parties, and corporate events - please contact me direct so that i can tailor these to your needs.

Tuition Available
Junior Sessions
Price list for tuition is below (please note prices are per student - apart from the adult and junior combined deal)

Junior 3 hour session: £55
Junior 4 hour session: £65
Junior 7 hour session: £115

Adult and junior combined deal:
4 hour session: £120
7 hour session : £210
These sessions include all bait for the day, venue day tickets and tackle hire for the day if required.

You will need to have a valid rod licence, which can be purchased direct from the link below. Juniors aged upto 12 do not have to buy a rod licence. Ages 13-16 will need to purchase a free one, and 17+ will need to purchase one from the link below.

Adult sessions 1 to 1

Adult prices:
3 hour introduction to fishing carp and course £95
7 hour session: £160
10 hour session: £200
These sessions include all bait for the day, venue day tickets and tackle hire if required. You will need to purchase a rod licence from the link below if you do not have one already.
Group bookings upto 4
I offer group booking sessions, which is ideal for a larger family, or friends who would like to try fishing together.

4 hour session £250

Fishing Venues
Latchetts Lakes
I use several venue's for my fishing tuition at the moment. Latchetts Lakes in Uckfield holds a wide variety of species such as roach, rudd, tench, koi, carp and catfish.

Andy's Fishery Stanbridge View
Andy's Fishery is based in Haywards Heath, and has clean toilet facilities. The address is 1 Stanbridge View, Nursery Lane, Haywards Heath, RH17 5JS.

This fishery is a great mixed fishery with roach, perch, koi, carp, gudgeon, barbel, bream and hybrids.
Beaver Farm Fishery
Beaver Farm Fishery is based in Newchapel/Lingfield in Surrey.
​
Beaver Fishery is a fantastic fishery with lots of different lakes holding a wide variety of species to catch. These include roach, rudd, bream, carp, perch, pike and catfish.
